Our Step-by-Step Process for Selling a House.

Your Home Selling Dream Team

We will officially meet and discuss your home selling goals, possible home improvements, and home staging options. Together, we will review your area and compare your home to others to determine the best price and timeline.

We will then engage possible resources (stager, handyman, painters, etc.) and provide you with a “list-to-sell” strategy. We will discuss our marketing plan checklist, review showing procedures and introduce the listing paperwork.

In Contract

Once the paperwork is complete, photos will be taken and full marketing exposure is initiated.

Your home’s online listing goes live and our marketing begins. A home’s first showing typically happens online. You only have one chance to be the new kid on the block. Now is your time to shine!

An Empowered Home Selling Experience

Let the showings begin! Throughout the listing phase, we will provide insight & candor regarding your property in relation to the real estate market in the surrounding area, in order to establish current trends and adjust strategy as required.

We will provide specific feedback from each scheduled showing as we receive it. This includes what both other agents and buyers think of your house compared to other listings based on price, condition and other possible selling factors. Once an offer is received through a purchase agreement, the negotiation begins. Together we will review the offer and you will either accept or submit a counter offer.

The buyer delivers their earnest money to the broker. Your home inspection is conducted and we help you respond to any buyer requests or inspection findings. We’ll assist in setting up your home’s appraisal and review all of the closing paperwork with you.

A lot of details will be handled behind the scenes, but our main goal as your agent is to handle all the details to get you through to a stress-free closing. We will send you emails as reminders of tasks that you will need to complete prior to the sale of your home every step of the way. At all times, we are here for you.
